28:16. וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל וְלָמָּה תִּשְׁאָלֵנִי וַיהוָה סָר מֵעָלֶיךָ וַיְהִי עָרֶךָ ׃

28:16. טז ויאמר שמואל ולמה תשאלני  ויהוה סר מעליך ויהי ערך

28:16. וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל וְלָמָּה תִּשְׁאָלֵנִי וַיהוָה סָר מֵעָלֶיךָ וַיְהִי עָרֶךָ׃

28:16. ‏וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל וְלָ֖מָּה תִּשְׁאָלֵ֑נִי וַיהוָ֛ה סָ֥ר מֵעָלֶ֖יךָ וַיְהִ֥י עָרֶֽךָ׃

28:16. Samuel said, "Why are you asking me, now that the LORD has turned away from you and has become your enemy?

28:16. But Samuel replied, "Why ask me, since the LORD has left you and has become your enemy?

28:16. And Samuel said, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing Jehovah is departed from thee, and is become thine adversary?

28:16. And Samuel said, "Why then do you ask me, since the LORD has turned from you and become your enemy?

28:16. Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?

28:16. And Samuel said, "Why then do you ask me, since the LORD has turned from you and become your enemy?

28:16. And Samuel said, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine adversary?

28:16. And Samuel saith, `And why dost thou ask me, and Jehovah hath turned aside from thee, and is thine enemy?

28:16. Samuel said, "The Lord left you and is now your enemy, so why are you asking me for advice?

28:16. Samuel said, Why then do you ask of me, seeing Yahweh is departed from you, and is become your adversary?
