2:3. וְגַם H1571 W-CONJ אָמַרְתִּי H559 VQQ1MS לֹֽא H3808 ADV ־ CPUN אֲגָרֵשׁ H1644 אוֹתָם H853 מִפְּנֵיכֶם H6440 וְהָיוּ H1961 W-VQQ3MS לָכֶם CPUN לְצִדִּים H6654 וֵאלֹהֵיהֶם H430 יִהְיוּ H1961 VQY3MP לָכֶם CPUN לְמוֹקֵֽשׁ H4170 ׃ EPUN

2:3. וְגַם אָמַרְתִּי לֹא־אֲגָרֵשׁ אוֹתָם מִפְּנֵיכֶם וְהָיוּ לָכֶם לְצִדִּים וֵאלֹהֵיהֶם יִהְיוּ לָכֶם לְמוֹקֵשׁ ׃

2:3. ג וגם אמרתי לא אגרש אותם מפניכם והיו לכם לצדים ואלהיהם יהיו לכם למוקש

2:3. וְגַם אָמַרְתִּי לֹא־אֲגָרֵשׁ אֹותָם מִפְּנֵיכֶם וְהָיוּ לָכֶם לְצִדִּים וֵאלֹהֵיהֶם יִהְיוּ לָכֶם לְמֹוקֵשׁ׃

2:3. ‏וְגַ֣ם אָמַ֔רְתִּי לֹֽא־אֲגָרֵ֥שׁ אוֹתָ֖ם מִפְּנֵיכֶ֑ם וְהָי֤וּ לָכֶם֙ לְצִדִּ֔ים וֵאלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם יִהְי֥וּ לָכֶ֖ם לְמוֹקֵֽשׁ׃

2:3. At that time I also warned you, 'If you disobey, I will not drive out the Canaanites before you. They will ensnare you and their gods will lure you away.'"

2:3. So now I declare that I will no longer drive out the people living in your land. They will be thorns in your sides, and their gods will be a constant temptation to you."

2:3. Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.
