1:22. וַיַּעֲלוּ H5927 בֵית H1004 CMS ־ CPUN יוֹסֵף H3130 גַּם H1571 CONJ ־ CPUN הֵם H1992 PPRO-3MP בֵּֽית H1008 LFS ־ CPUN אֵל H1008 LFS וַֽיהוָה H3068 W-EDS עִמָּֽם H5973 ׃ EPUN

1:22. וַיַּעֲלוּ בֵית־יוֹסֵף גַּם־הֵם בֵּית־אֵל וַיהוָה עִמָּם ׃

1:22. כב ויעלו בית יוסף גם הם בית אל ויהוה עמם

1:22. When the men of Joseph attacked Bethel, the LORD was with them.

1:22. Men from the tribe of Joseph went to fight against the city of Bethel. (In the past, Bethel was named Luz.) The Lord was on the side of the men from the tribe of Joseph. They sent some spies to the city of Bethel.

1:22. The house of Joseph, they also went up against Bethel; and Yahweh was with them.
