25:6. וְהָיָה H1961 W-VQQ3MS הַבְּכוֹר H1060 אֲשֶׁר H834 RPRO תֵּלֵד H3205 יָקוּם H6965 VQY3MS עַל H5921 PREP ־ CPUN שֵׁם H8034 CMS אָחִיו H251 CMS-3MS הַמֵּת H4191 וְלֹֽא H3808 W-NPAR ־ CPUN יִמָּחֶה H4229 שְׁמוֹ H8034 CMS-3MS מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל H3478 ׃ EPUN

25:6. וְהָיָה הַבְּכוֹר אֲשֶׁר תֵּלֵד יָקוּם עַל־שֵׁם אָחִיו הַמֵּת וְלֹא־יִמָּחֶה שְׁמוֹ מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל ׃

25:6. ו והיה הבכור אשר תלד--יקום על שם אחיו המת ולא ימחה שמו מישראל

25:6. וְהָיָה הַבְּכֹור אֲשֶׁר תֵּלֵד יָקוּם עַל־שֵׁם אָחִיו הַמֵּת וְלֹא־יִמָּחֶה שְׁמֹו מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל׃

25:6. ‏וְהָיָ֗ה הַבְּכוֹר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תֵּלֵ֔ד יָק֕וּם עַל־שֵׁ֥ם אָחִ֖יו הַמֵּ֑ת וְלֹֽא־יִמָּחֶ֥ה שְׁמ֖וֹ מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

25:6. Then the first son she bears will continue the name of the dead brother, thus preventing his name from being blotted out of Israel.

25:6. The first son she bears to him will be considered the son of the dead brother, so that his name will not be forgotten in Israel.

25:6. And it shall be, that the first-born that she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother that is dead, that his name be not blotted out of Israel.
