8:10. וְהָפַכְתִּי H2015 חַגֵּיכֶם H2282 לְאֵבֶל H60 L-NMS וְכָל H3605 NMS ־ CPUN שִֽׁירֵיכֶם H7892 לְקִינָה H7015 וְהַעֲלֵיתִי H5927 עַל H5921 PREP ־ CPUN כָּל H3605 NMS ־ CPUN מָתְנַיִם H4975 שָׂק H8242 וְעַל H5921 PREP ־ CPUN כָּל H3605 NMS ־ CPUN רֹאשׁ H7218 NMS קָרְחָה H7144 וְשַׂמְתִּיהָ H7760 כְּאֵבֶל H60 יָחִיד H3173 וְאַחֲרִיתָהּ H319 כְּיוֹם H3117 מָֽר H4751 ׃ EPUN

8:10. וְהָפַכְתִּי חַגֵּיכֶם לְאֵבֶל וְכָל־שִׁירֵיכֶם לְקִינָה וְהַעֲלֵיתִי עַל־כָּל־מָתְנַיִם שָׂק וְעַל־כָּל־רֹאשׁ קָרְחָה וְשַׂמְתִּיהָ כְּאֵבֶל יָחִיד וְאַחֲרִיתָהּ כְּיוֹם מָר ׃

8:10. י והפכתי חגיכם לאבל וכל שיריכם לקינה והעליתי על כל מתנים שק ועל כל ראש קרחה ושמתיה כאבל יחיד ואחריתה כיום מר  {פ}

8:10. וְהָפַכְתִּי חַגֵּיכֶם לְאֵבֶל וְכָל־שִׁירֵיכֶם לְקִינָה וְהַעֲלֵיתִי עַל־כָּל־מָתְנַיִם שָׂק וְעַל־כָּל־רֹאשׁ קָרְחָה וְשַׂמְתִּיהָ כְּאֵבֶל יָחִיד וְאַחֲרִיתָהּ כְּיֹום מָר׃

8:10. ‏וְהָפַכְתִּ֨י חַגֵּיכֶ֜ם לְאֵ֗בֶל וְכָל־שִֽׁירֵיכֶם֙ לְקִינָ֔ה וְהַעֲלֵיתִ֤י עַל־כָּל־מָתְנַ֙יִם֙ שָׂ֔ק וְעַל־כָּל־רֹ֖אשׁ קָרְחָ֑ה וְשַׂמְתִּ֙יהָ֙ כְּאֵ֣בֶל יָחִ֔יד וְאַחֲרִיתָ֖הּ כְּי֥וֹם מָֽר׃

8:10. I will turn your festivals into funerals, and all your songs into funeral dirges. I will make everyone wear funeral clothes and cause every head to be shaved bald. I will make you mourn as if you had lost your only son; when it ends it will indeed have been a bitter day.

8:10. I will turn your celebrations into times of mourning and your singing into weeping. You will wear funeral clothes and shave your heads to show your sorrow-- as if your only son had died. How very bitter that day will be!

8:10. And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning for an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.

I will cause there to be mourning everywhere, like that for an only son who died. It will be a very bitter end."
