2:15. עָנֵה וְאָמַר לְאַרְיוֹךְ שַׁלִּיטָא דִי־מַלְכָּא עַל־מָה דָתָא מְהַחְצְפָה מִן־קֳדָם מַלְכָּא אֱדַיִן מִלְּתָא הוֹדַע אַרְיוֹךְ לְדָנִיֵּאל ׃

2:15. טו ענה ואמר לאריוך שליטא די מלכא על מה דתא מהחצפה מן קדם מלכא אדין מלתא הודע אריוך לדניאל

2:15. עָנֵה וְאָמַר לְאַרְיֹוךְ שַׁלִּיטָא דִי־מַלְכָּא עַל־מָה דָתָא מְהַחְצְפָה מִן־קֳדָם מַלְכָּא אֱדַיִן מִלְּתָא הֹודַע אַרְיֹוךְ לְדָנִיֵּאל׃

2:15. ‏עָנֵ֣ה וְאָמַ֗ר לְאַרְיוֹךְ֙ שַׁלִּיטָ֣א דִֽי־מַלְכָּ֔א עַל־מָ֥ה דָתָ֛א מְהַחְצְפָ֖ה מִן־קֳדָ֣ם מַלְכָּ֑א אֱדַ֣יִן מִלְּתָ֔א הוֹדַ֥ע אַרְי֖וֹךְ לְדָנִיֵּֽאל׃

2:15. He inquired of Arioch the king's deputy, "Why is the decree from the king so urgent?" Then Arioch informed Daniel about the matter.

2:15. He asked Arioch, "Why has the king issued such a harsh decree?" So Arioch told him all that had happened.

2:15. he answered and said to Arioch the kings captain, Wherefore is the decree so urgent from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.

2:15. He declared to Arioch, the king's captain, "Why is the decree of the king so urgent?" Then Arioch made the matter known to Daniel.

2:15. He hath answered and said to Arioch the king`s captain, `Wherefore [is] the sentence so urgent from before the king?` Then Arioch hath made the thing known to Daniel,

2:15. and said, "Why did the king order such a severe punishment?" Then Arioch explained the whole story about the king's dreams, and Daniel understood.
