5:12. כִּחֲשׁוּ בַּיהוָה וַיֹּאמְרוּ לֹא־הוּא וְלֹא־תָבוֹא עָלֵינוּ רָעָה וְחֶרֶב וְרָעָב לוֹא נִרְאֶה ׃

5:12. יב כחשו ביהוה ויאמרו לוא הוא ולא תבוא עלינו רעה וחרב ורעב לוא נראה

5:12. כִּחֲשׁוּ בַּיהוָה וַיֹּאמְרוּ לֹא־הוּא וְלֹא־תָבֹוא עָלֵינוּ רָעָה וְחֶרֶב וְרָעָב לֹוא נִרְאֶה׃

5:12. ‏כִּֽחֲשׁוּ֙ בַּיהוָ֔ה וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ לֹא־ה֑וּא וְלֹא־תָב֤וֹא עָלֵ֙ינוּ֙ רָעָ֔ה וְחֶ֥רֶב וְרָעָ֖ב ל֥וֹא נִרְאֶֽה׃

5:12. "These people have denied what the LORD says. They have said, 'That is not so! No harm will come to us. We will not experience war and famine.

5:12. "They have lied about the LORD and said, 'He won't bother us! No disasters will come upon us. There will be no war or famine.

5:12. They have denied Jehovah, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:

5:12. They have spoken falsely of the LORD and have said, 'He will do nothing; no disaster will come upon us, nor shall we see sword or famine.

5:12. They have belied the LORD, and said, [It is] not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:

5:12. They have lied against Jehovah, And they say, `[It is] not He, Nor come in against us doth evil, Yea, sword and famine we do not see.

5:12. "Those people lied about the Lord. They said, 'He will not do anything to us. Nothing bad will happen to us. We will never see an army attack us. We will never starve.'

5:12. They have denied Yahweh, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come on us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:
