38:28. וַיֵּשֶׁב יִרְמְיָהוּ בַּחֲצַר הַמַּטָּרָה עַד־יוֹם אֲשֶׁר־נִלְכְּדָה יְרוּשָׁלִָם ס וְהָיָה כַּאֲשֶׁר נִלְכְּדָה יְרוּשָׁלִָם ׃ פ

38:28. כח וישב ירמיהו בחצר המטרה עד יום אשר נלכדה ירושלם  {ס}  והיה כאשר נלכדה ירושלם

38:28. וַיֵּשֶׁב יִרְמְיָהוּ בַּחֲצַר הַמַּטָּרָה עַד־יֹום אֲשֶׁר־נִלְכְּדָה יְרוּשָׁלִָם ס וְהָיָה כַּאֲשֶׁר נִלְכְּדָה יְרוּשָׁלִָם׃ פ

38:28. ‏וַיֵּ֤שֶׁב יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ בַּחֲצַ֣ר הַמַּטָּרָ֔ה עַד־י֖וֹם אֲשֶׁר־נִלְכְּדָ֣ה יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם סוְהָיָ֕ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר נִלְכְּדָ֖ה יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ פ

38:28. So Jeremiah remained confined in the courtyard of the guardhouse until the day Jerusalem was captured. The following events occurred when Jerusalem was captured.

38:28. And Jeremiah remained a prisoner in the courtyard of the guard until the day Jerusalem was captured.

38:28. So Jeremiah abode in the court of the guard until the day that Jerusalem was taken.
