7:12. וַיֹּאמֶר אָחָז לֹא־אֶשְׁאַל וְלֹא־אֲנַסֶּה אֶת־יְהוָה ׃

7:12. יב ויאמר אחז  לא אשאל ולא אנסה את יהוה

7:12. But Ahaz responded, "I don't want to ask; I don't want to put the LORD to a test."

7:12. But the king refused. "No," he said, "I will not test the LORD like that."
