44:14. לִכְרָת־לוֹ אֲרָזִים וַיִּקַּח תִּרְזָה וְאַלּוֹן וַיְאַמֶּץ־לוֹ בַּעֲצֵי־יָעַר נָטַע אֹרֶן וְגֶשֶׁם יְגַדֵּל ׃

44:14. יד לכרת לו ארזים--ויקח תרזה ואלון ויאמץ לו בעצי יער נטע ארן וגשם יגדל

44:14. לִכְרָת־לֹו אֲרָזִים וַיִּקַּח תִּרְזָה וְאַלֹּון וַיְאַמֶּץ־לֹו בַּעֲצֵי־יָעַר נָטַע אֹרֶן וְגֶשֶׁם יְגַדֵּל׃

44:14. ‏לִכְרָת־ל֣וֹ אֲרָזִ֔ים וַיִּקַּ֤ח תִּרְזָה֙ וְאַלּ֔וֹן וַיְאַמֶּץ־ל֖וֹ בַּעֲצֵי־יָ֑עַר נָטַ֥ע אֹ֖רֶן6 וְגֶ֥שֶׁם יְגַדֵּֽל׃

44:14. He cuts down cedars and acquires a cypress or an oak. He gets trees from the forest; he plants a cedar and the rain makes it grow.

44:14. To split the cedar tree, the worker took some oak or cypress {wedges}. To make sure he had plenty of wood, he planted some pines. But it was the rain that made them grow.
