40:22. הַיֹּשֵׁב H3427 D-VQPMS עַל H5921 PREP ־ CPUN חוּג H2329 הָאָרֶץ H776 D-GFS וְיֹשְׁבֶיהָ H3427 כַּחֲגָבִים H2284 הַנּוֹטֶה H5186 כַדֹּק H1852 שָׁמַיִם H8064 NMP וַיִּמְתָּחֵם H4969 כָּאֹהֶל H168 לָשָֽׁבֶת H3427 ׃ EPUN

40:22. הַיֹּשֵׁב עַל־חוּג הָאָרֶץ וְיֹשְׁבֶיהָ כַּחֲגָבִים הַנּוֹטֶה כַדֹּק שָׁמַיִם וַיִּמְתָּחֵם כָּאֹהֶל לָשָׁבֶת ׃

40:22. כב הישב על חוג הארץ וישביה כחגבים הנוטה כדק שמים וימתחם כאהל לשבת

40:22. הַיֹּשֵׁב עַל־חוּג הָאָרֶץ וְיֹשְׁבֶיהָ כַּחֲגָבִים הַנֹּוטֶה כַדֹּק שָׁמַיִם וַיִּמְתָּחֵם כָּאֹהֶל לָשָׁבֶת׃

40:22. ‏הַיֹּשֵׁב֙ עַל־ח֣וּג הָאָ֔רֶץ וְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָ כַּחֲגָבִ֑ים הַנּוֹטֶ֤ה כַדֹּק֙ שָׁמַ֔יִם וַיִּמְתָּחֵ֥ם כָּאֹ֖הֶל לָשָֽׁבֶת׃

40:22. He is the one who sits on the earth's horizon; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers before him. He is the one who stretches out the sky like a thin curtain, and spreads it out like a pitched tent.

40:22. God sits above the circle of the earth. The people below seem like grasshoppers to him! He spreads out the heavens like a curtain and makes his tent from them.

40:22. It is he that sitteth above the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in;

40:22. It is the Lord who sits above the circle of the earth. And compared to him, people are like grasshoppers. He rolled open the skies like a piece of cloth. He stretched out the skies like a tent to sit under.
