34:17. וְהֽוּא H1931 W-PPRO-3MS ־ CPUN הִפִּיל H5307 לָהֶן גּוֹרָל H1486 וְיָדוֹ H3027 חִלְּקַתָּה H2505 לָהֶם L-PPRO-3MP בַּקָּו H6957 עַד H5704 PREP ־ CPUN עוֹלָם H5769 NMS יִֽירָשׁוּהָ H3423 לְדוֹר H1755 וָדוֹר H1755 יִשְׁכְּנוּ H7931 ־ CPUN בָֽהּ B-PPRO-3FS ׃ EPUN ס CPUN

34:17. וְהוּא־הִפִּיל לָהֶן גּוֹרָל וְיָדוֹ חִלְּקַתָּה לָהֶם בַּקָּו עַד־עוֹלָם יִירָשׁוּהָ לְדוֹר וָדוֹר יִשְׁכְּנוּ־בָהּ ׃ ס

34:17. יז והוא הפיל להן גורל וידו חלקתה להם בקו עד עולם יירשוה--לדור ודור ישכנו בה  {ס}

34:17. וְהוּא־הִפִּיל לָהֶן גֹּורָל וְיָדֹו חִלְּקַתָּה לָהֶם בַּקָּו עַד־עֹולָם יִירָשׁוּהָ לְדֹור וָדֹור יִשְׁכְּנוּ־בָהּ׃ ס

34:17. ‏וְהֽוּא־הִפִּ֤יל לָהֶן֙ גּוֹרָ֔ל וְיָד֛וֹ חִלְּקַ֥תָּה לָהֶ֖ם בַּקָּ֑ו עַד־עוֹלָם֙ יִֽירָשׁ֔וּהָ לְד֥וֹר וָד֖וֹר יִשְׁכְּנוּ־בָֽהּ׃ ס

34:17. He assigns them their allotment; he measures out their assigned place. They will live there permanently; they will settle in it through successive generations.

34:17. God decided what he should do with them, and then he chose a place for them. He drew a line and showed them their land. So the animals will own that land forever. They will live there year after year.
