31:5. כְּצִפֳּרִים עָפוֹת כֵּן יָגֵן יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת עַל־יְרוּשָׁלִָם גָּנוֹן וְהִצִּיל פָּסֹחַ וְהִמְלִיט ׃

31:5. ה כצפרים עפות--כן יגן יהוה צבאות על ירושלם גנון והציל פסח והמליט

31:5. כְּצִפֳּרִים עָפֹות כֵּן יָגֵן יְהוָה צְבָאֹות עַל־יְרוּשָׁלִָם גָּנֹון וְהִצִּיל פָּסֹחַ וְהִמְלִיט׃

31:5. ‏כְּצִפֳּרִ֣ים עָפ֔וֹת כֵּ֗ן יָגֵ֛ן יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת עַל־יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם גָּנ֥וֹן וְהִצִּ֖יל פָּסֹ֥חַ וְהִמְלִֽיט׃

31:5. Just as birds hover over a nest, so the LORD who commands armies will protect Jerusalem. He will protect and deliver it; as he passes over he will rescue it.

31:5. The LORD of Heaven's Armies will hover over Jerusalem and protect it like a bird protecting its nest. He will defend and save the city; he will pass over it and rescue it."

31:5. As birds hovering, so will Jehovah of hosts protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver it, he will pass over and preserve it.

31:5. Like birds hovering, so the LORD of hosts will protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver it; he will spare and rescue it."

31:5. As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver [it; and] passing over he will preserve [it.]

31:5. Just as birds fly over their nest to protect it, so the Lord All- Powerful will defend Jerusalem. He will save her. He will "pass over" and save Jerusalem.
