7:16. כִּי אֵין זִכְרוֹן לֶחָכָם עִם־הַכְּסִיל לְעוֹלָם בְּשֶׁכְּבָר הַיָּמִים הַבָּאִים הַכֹּל נִשְׁכָּח וְאֵיךְ יָמוּת הֶחָכָם עִם־הַכְּסִיל ׃

7:16. טז אל תהי צדיק הרבה ואל תתחכם יותר  למה תשומם

7:16. אַל־תְּהִי צַדִּיק הַרְבֵּה וְאַל־תִּתְחַכַּם יֹותֵר לָמָּה תִּשֹּׁומֵם׃

7:16. So do not be excessively righteous or excessively wise; otherwise you might be disappointed.
