5:13. וְרָאִיתִי אָנִי שֶׁיֵּשׁ יִתְרוֹן לַחָכְמָה מִן־הַסִּכְלוּת כִּיתְרוֹן הָאוֹר מִן־הַחֹשֶׁךְ ׃

5:13. יג ואבד העשר ההוא בענין רע והוליד בן ואין בידו מאומה

5:13. וְאָבַד הָעֹשֶׁר הַהוּא בְּעִנְיַן רָע וְהֹולִיד בֵּן וְאֵין בְּיָדֹו מְאוּמָה׃

5:13. ‏יֵ֚שׁ רָעָ֣ה חוֹלָ֔ה רָאִ֖יתִי תַּ֣חַת הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ עֹ֛שֶׁר שָׁמ֥וּר לִבְעָלָ֖יו לְרָעָתֽוֹ׃

5:13. Here is a misfortune on earth that I have seen: Wealth hoarded by its owner to his own misery.

5:13. There is another serious problem I have seen under the sun. Hoarding riches harms the saver.
