5:11. בִּרְבוֹת H7235 הַטּוֹבָה H2896 רַבּוּ H7235 אוֹכְלֶיהָ H398 וּמַה H4100 W-IPRO ־ CPUN כִּשְׁרוֹן H3788 לִבְעָלֶיהָ H1167 כִּי H3588 CONJ אִם H518 PART ־ CPUN ראית H7200 עֵינָֽיו H5869 ׃ EPUN

5:11. וּפָנִיתִי אֲנִי בְּכָל־מַעֲשַׂי שֶׁעָשׂוּ יָדַי וּבֶעָמָל שֶׁעָמַלְתִּי לַעֲשׂוֹת וְהִנֵּה הַכֹּל הֶבֶל וּרְעוּת רוּחַ וְאֵין יִתְרוֹן תַּחַת הַשָּׁמֶשׁ ׃

5:11. יא מתוקה שנת העבד אם מעט ואם הרבה יאכל והשבע לעשיר--איננו מניח לו לישון

5:11. מְתוּקָה שְׁנַת הָעֹבֵד אִם־מְעַט וְאִם־הַרְבֵּה יֹאכֵל וְהַשָּׂבָע לֶעָשִׁיר אֵינֶנּוּ מַנִּיחַ לֹו לִישֹׁון׃

5:11. ‏בִּרְבוֹת֙ הַטּוֹבָ֔ה רַבּ֖וּ אוֹכְלֶ֑יהָ וּמַה־כִּשְׁרוֹן֙ לִבְעָלֶ֔יהָ כִּ֖י אִם־ראית רְא֥וּת עֵינָֽיו׃

5:11. When someone's prosperity increases, those who consume it also increase; so what does its owner gain, except that he gets to see it with his eyes?

5:11. The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth-- except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers!
