3:16. כִּי אֵין זִכְרוֹן לֶחָכָם עִם־הַכְּסִיל לְעוֹלָם בְּשֶׁכְּבָר הַיָּמִים הַבָּאִים הַכֹּל נִשְׁכָּח וְאֵיךְ יָמוּת הֶחָכָם עִם־הַכְּסִיל ׃

3:16. טז ועוד ראיתי תחת השמש  מקום המשפט שמה הרשע ומקום הצדק שמה הרשע

3:16. וְעֹוד רָאִיתִי תַּחַת הַשָּׁמֶשׁ מְקֹום הַמִּשְׁפָּט שָׁמָּה הָרֶשַׁע וּמְקֹום הַצֶּדֶק שָׁמָּה הָרָשַׁע׃

3:16. ‏וְע֥וֹד רָאִ֖יתִי תַּ֣חַת הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ מְק֤וֹם הַמִּשְׁפָּט֙ שָׁ֣מָּה הָרֶ֔שַׁע וּמְק֥וֹם הַצֶּ֖דֶק שָׁ֥מָּה הָרָֽשַׁע׃

3:16. I saw something else on earth: In the place of justice, there was wickedness, and in the place of fairness, there was wickedness.

3:16. I also noticed that under the sun there is evil in the courtroom. Yes, even the courts of law are corrupt!

3:16. And moreover I saw under the sun, in the place of justice, that wickedness was there; and in the place of righteousness, that wickedness was there.

3:16. Moreover, I saw under the sun that in the place of justice, even there was wickedness, and in the place of righteousness, even there was wickedness.

3:16. And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, [that] wickedness [was] there; and the place of righteousness, [that] iniquity [was] there.
