3:12. וּפָנִיתִי אֲנִי לִרְאוֹת חָכְמָה וְהוֹלֵלוֹת וְסִכְלוּת כִּי מֶה הָאָדָם שֶׁיָּבוֹא אַחֲרֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ אֵת אֲשֶׁר־כְּבָר עָשׂוּהוּ ׃

3:12. יב ידעתי כי אין טוב בם--כי אם לשמוח ולעשות טוב בחייו

3:12. I have concluded that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to enjoy themselves as long as they live,
