5:9. יְהוָה נְחֵנִי בְצִדְקָתֶךָ לְמַעַן שׁוֹרְרָי הוֹשַׁר לְפָנַי דַּרְכֶּךָ ׃

5:9. ט   יהוה נחני בצדקתך--למען שוררי    הושר (הישר) לפני דרכך

5:9. יְהוָה ׀ נְחֵנִי בְצִדְקָתֶךָ לְמַעַן שֹׁורְרָי [הֹושַׁר כ] (הַיְשַׁר ק) לְפָנַי דַּרְכֶּךָ׃

5:9. ‏יְהוָ֤ה׀ נְחֵ֬נִי בְצִדְקָתֶ֗ךָ לְמַ֥עַן שׁוֹרְרָ֑י הושר הַיְשַׁ֖ר לְפָנַ֣י דַּרְכֶּֽךָ׃

5:9. For they do not speak the truth; their stomachs are like the place of destruction, their throats like an open grave, their tongues like a steep slope leading into it.

5:9. My enemies cannot speak a truthful word. Their deepest desire is to destroy others. Their talk is foul, like the stench from an open grave. Their tongues are filled with flattery.
