24:12. מֵעִיר מְתִים יִנְאָקוּ וְנֶפֶשׁ־חֲלָלִים תְּשַׁוֵּעַ וֶאֱלוֹהַּ לֹא־יָשִׂים תִּפְלָה ׃

24:12. יב   מעיר מתים ינאקו--    ונפש-חללים תשוע ואלוה    לא-ישים תפלה

24:12. מֵעִיר מְתִים ׀ יִנְאָקוּ וְנֶפֶשׁ־חֲלָלִים תְּשַׁוֵּעַ וֶאֱלֹוהַּ לֹא־יָשִׂים תִּפְלָה׃

24:12. ‏מֵ֘עִ֤יר מְתִ֨ים׀ יִנְאָ֗קוּ וְנֶֽפֶשׁ־חֲלָלִ֥ים תְּשַׁוֵּ֑עַ וֶ֝אֱל֗וֹהַּ לֹא־יָשִׂ֥ים תִּפְלָֽה׃

24:12. From the city the dying groan, and the wounded cry out for help, but God charges no one with wrongdoing.

24:12. The groans of the dying rise from the city, and the wounded cry for help, yet God ignores their moaning.

24:12. From out of the populous city men groan, And the soul of the wounded crieth out: Yet God regardeth not the folly.
