20:20. כִּי לֹא־יָדַע שָׁלֵו בְּבִטְנוֹ בַּחֲמוּדוֹ לֹא יְמַלֵּט ׃

20:20. כ   כי לא-ידע שלו בבטנו    בחמודו לא ימלט

20:20. כִּי ׀ לֹא־יָדַע שָׁלֵו בְּבִטְנֹו בַּחֲמוּדֹו לֹא יְמַלֵּט׃

20:20. ‏כִּ֤י׀ לֹא־יָדַ֣ע שָׁלֵ֣ו בְּבִטְנ֑וֹ בַּ֝חֲמוּד֗וֹ לֹ֣א יְמַלֵּֽט׃

20:20. For he knows no satisfaction in his appetite; he does not let anything he desires escape.

20:20. They were always greedy and never satisfied. Nothing remains of all the things they dreamed about.

20:20. Because he knew no quietness within him, He shall not save aught of that wherein he delighteth.

20:20. "Because he knew no contentment in his belly, he will not let anything in which he delights escape him.

20:20. Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.

20:20. "Because his greed knew no rest, he will not save anything in which he delights.

20:20. Because he knew no quietness within him, he shall not save aught of that wherein he delighteth.

20:20. For he hath not known ease in his belly. With his desirable thing he delivereth not himself.
