6:13. לְמַעַן שָׂכוּר הוּא לְמַעַן־אִירָא וְאֶעֱשֶׂה־כֵּן וְחָטָאתִי וְהָיָה לָהֶם לְשֵׁם רָע לְמַעַן יְחָרְפוּנִי ׃ פ

6:13. יג למען שכור הוא למען אירא ואעשה כן וחטאתי והיה להם לשם רע למען יחרפוני  {פ}

6:13. לְמַעַן שָׂכוּר הוּא לְמַעַן־אִירָא וְאֶעֱשֶׂה־כֵּן וְחָטָאתִי וְהָיָה לָהֶם לְשֵׁם רָע לְמַעַן יְחָרְפוּנִי׃ פ

6:13. ‏לְמַ֤עַן שָׂכוּר֙ ה֔וּא לְמַֽעַן־אִירָ֥א וְאֶֽעֱשֶׂה־כֵּ֖ן וְחָטָ֑אתִי וְהָיָ֤ה לָהֶם֙ לְשֵׁ֣ם רָ֔ע לְמַ֖עַן יְחָֽרְפֽוּנִי׃ פ

6:13. He had been hired to scare me so that I would do this and thereby sin. They would thus bring reproach on me and I would be discredited.

6:13. They were hoping to intimidate me and make me sin. Then they would be able to accuse and discredit me.

6:13. They hired Shemaiah to scare me and make me sin {by going into that part of the Temple}. They were planning those bad things against me so that they could shame me.
