10:14. וְלֹא־דָרַשׁ בַּיהוָה וַיְמִיתֵהוּ וַיַּסֵּב אֶת־הַמְּלוּכָה לְדָוִיד בֶּן־יִשָׁי ׃

10:14. יד ולא דרש ביהוה וימיתהו ויסב את המלוכה לדויד בן ישי  {פ}

10:14. וְלֹא־דָרַשׁ בַּיהוָה וַיְמִיתֵהוּ וַיַּסֵּב אֶת־הַמְּלוּכָה לְדָוִיד בֶּן־יִשָׁי׃ פ

10:14. ‏וְלֹֽא־דָרַ֥שׁ בַּֽיהוָ֖ה וַיְמִיתֵ֑הוּ וַיַּסֵּב֙ אֶת־הַמְּלוּכָ֔ה לְדָוִ֖יד בֶּן־יִשָֽׁי׃ פ

10:14. He did not seek the LORD's guidance, so the LORD killed him and transferred the kingdom to David son of Jesse.

10:14. instead of asking the LORD for guidance. So the LORD killed him and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.

10:14. and inquired not of Jehovah: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

10:14. He did not seek guidance from the LORD. Therefore the LORD put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David the son of Jesse.

10:14. And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

10:14. instead of asking the Lord. That is why the Lord killed Saul and gave the kingdom to Jesse's son David.
