9:12. וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים זֹאת אוֹת־הַבְּרִית אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִי נֹתֵן בֵּינִי וּבֵינֵיכֶם וּבֵין כָּל־נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה אֲשֶׁר אִתְּכֶם לְדֹרֹת עוֹלָם ׃

9:12. יב ויאמר אלהים זאת אות הברית אשר אני נתן ביני וביניכם ובין כל נפש חיה אשר אתכם--לדרת עולם

9:12. וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים זֹאת אֹות־הַבְּרִית אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִי נֹתֵן בֵּינִי וּבֵינֵיכֶם וּבֵין כָּל־נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה אֲשֶׁר אִתְּכֶם לְדֹרֹת עֹולָם׃

9:12. ‏וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים זֹ֤את אֽוֹת־הַבְּרִית֙ אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִ֣י נֹתֵ֗ן בֵּינִי֙ וּבֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם וּבֵ֛ין כָּל־נֶ֥פֶשׁ חַיָּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתְּכֶ֑ם לְדֹרֹ֖ת עוֹלָֽם׃

9:12. And God said, "This is the guarantee of the covenant I am making with you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all subsequent generations:

9:12. Then God said, "I am giving you a sign of my covenant with you and with all living creatures, for all generations to come.

9:12. And God said, "I will give you something to prove that I made this promise to you. It will continue forever to show that I have made an agreement with you and every living thing on earth. This agreement will continue for all time to come. This is the proof:
