32:29. וַיִּשְׁאַל H7592 W-VQY3MS יַעֲקֹב H3290 וַיֹּאמֶר H559 הַגִּֽידָה H5046 ־ CPUN נָּא H4994 IJEC שְׁמֶךָ H8034 CMS-2MS וַיֹּאמֶר H559 לָמָּה H4100 זֶּה H2088 PMS תִּשְׁאַל H7592 לִשְׁמִי H8034 וַיְבָרֶךְ H1288 אֹתוֹ H853 שָֽׁם H8033 ADV ׃ EPUN

32:29. וַיֹּאמֶר לֹא יַעֲקֹב יֵאָמֵר עוֹד שִׁמְךָ כִּי אִם־יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי־שָׂרִיתָ עִם־אֱלֹהִים וְעִם־אֲנָשִׁים וַתּוּכָל ׃

32:29. כט ויאמר לא יעקב יאמר עוד שמך--כי אם ישראל  כי שרית עם אלהים ועם אנשים ותוכל

32:29. וַיֹּאמֶר לֹא יַעֲקֹב יֵאָמֵר עֹוד שִׁמְךָ כִּי אִם־יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי־שָׂרִיתָ עִם־אֱלֹהִים וְעִם־אֲנָשִׁים וַתּוּכָל׃

32:29. ‏וַיִּשְׁאַ֣ל יַעֲקֹ֗ב וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הַגִּֽידָה־נָּ֣א שְׁמֶ֔ךָ וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לָ֥מָּה זֶּ֖ה תִּשְׁאַ֣ל לִשְׁמִ֑י וַיְבָ֥רֶךְ אֹת֖וֹ שָֽׁם׃

32:29. Then Jacob asked, "Please tell me your name." "Why do you ask my name?" the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there.

32:29. "Please tell me your name," Jacob said."Why do you want to know my name?" the man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there.

32:29. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

32:29. Then Jacob asked him, "Please tell me your name." But he said, "Why is it that you ask my name?" And there he blessed him.

32:29. And Jacob asked [him,] and said, Tell [me,] I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore [is] it [that] thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

32:29. Then Jacob asked him, "Tell me, I pray, your name." But he said, "Why is it that you ask my name?" And there he blessed him.

32:29. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

32:29. And Jacob asketh, and saith, `Declare, I pray thee, thy name;` and he saith, `Why [is] this, thou askest for My name?` and He blesseth him there.

32:29. Then Jacob asked him, "Please tell me your name." But the man said, "Why do you ask my name?" Then the man blessed Jacob at that place.

32:29. Jacob asked him, "Please tell me your name." He said, "Why is it that you ask what my name is?" He blessed him there.

32:29. And Jacob H3290 asked H7592 [him] , and said, H559 Tell H5046 [me] , I pray thee, H4994 thy name. H8034 And he said, H559 Wherefore H4100 [is] it H2088 [that] thou dost ask H7592 after my name H8034 ? And he blessed H1288 him there. H8033
